When Rubrik staff arrived at their holiday party, they stepped into a fully immersive celebration of South Asian culture, color, and rhythm. Designed to be more than just festive, this event was curated to surprise, delight, and offer a sense of journey—from vibrant visuals to interactive experiences.
From the moment guests entered the space, they were surrounded by warm, vivid hues—floral arrangements and textile accents in rich oranges, deep reds, golds, and fuchsia pinks set the tone. A large custom “Rubrik” sign anchored the visual theme while vignettes throughout the venue showcased different facets of Indian tradition. Guests could explore colorful rangoli installations, lounge under decorative tenting, and pose in front of vintage Bollywood movie posters.
The night was layered with immersive activities: henna artists worked steadily at adorned stations, while bindi artists added sparkle to the evening. Astrology and tea leaf reading tables sparked curiosity, with coffee grind readers offering an unexpected twist. Each space invited participation and offered a unique moment of discovery.
The dance floor took center stage, quite literally, with a DJ tented in the middle, surrounded by lounge seating and ambient lighting. As music pulsed through the venue, Dhol drummers brought the energy up a notch, followed by Bollywood and bhangra dancers who electrified the room with their precision and charisma. The night’s lineup included a snake charmer and a sword swallower—performers who stopped guests in their tracks with their fearless talents.
These performances weren’t isolated spectacles; they moved through the crowd and brought people together. The combination of traditional and modern entertainment created a dynamic flow that kept the dance floor packed and the energy high well into the night.
